4. Lights on the water: Christmas boat parades

Christmas Naples Boat Parade starts at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. The boats begin at Marker 18, which is in the Bayview Park and Hamilton Harbor marina area. Boats will pass through Naples City Dock, Pincher’s at Tin City at the Gordon River bridge, down the Bay into Port Royal’s Man-O-War and Morgan Cove. The Bonita Springs Christmas Boat Parade launches at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Bay Water Boat Club, goes along the Imperial River under U.S. 41 to Jolly Roger Lane, turns around and returns to boat club. Prime viewing includes the U.S. 41 Bridge, Riverwalk Park and Imperial River Boat Ramp.

Paradise Coastmen Barbershop Chorus: Annual holiday concert begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Pulte Family Life Center at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. N., Naples. 2. Holiday festivities in downtown Naples

Fifth Avenue Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting Ceremony: 50th annual event is 5-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, along Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples. Watch the official Christmas tree lighting Dec. 8 in Sugden Plaza and experience a living nativity by the First Church of the Nazarene, skating rink, live music and Santa Claus.

1. Night of Lights at Mercato

Chanukah Festival of Lights: Jewish Federation of Greater Naples invites the public to its free, community-wide celebration of Chanukah at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Mercato on the Lawn, 9110 Strada Place in Naples. Event will include lighting of menorah candle holder, music by the Naples Klezmer Revival Band, balloon creations, crafts and songs and Israeli food, donuts and chocolate Chanukah gelt. jewishnaples.org.
