The Naples Flower Show & Garden Market is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. from April 5-6 at Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive. The show has become one the largest annual juried flower shows in Florida. This year's "A World of Wonders" show will be an inspiring celebration where guests can enjoy spectacular floral designs, botanical arts, tropical plants, educational displays, floral photo ops. naplesgarden.org

2. Free band concert in downtown Naples is Sunday

Gulf Coast Big Band: Directed by former U.S. Air Force band leader JR Erb, band will perform a concert of lively jazz TV and movie themes starting at 2 p.m. April 7 at Naples' Cambier Park Bandshell, 755 Eighth Ave. S. Free, bring a chair. The band funds scholarships for local music students, and donations are appreciated. On the program are such familiar tunes as "Mr. Lucky," "The Odd Couple" and "Mannix." gulfcoastbigband.com
