It’s Veterans Day week, so if you know a veteran, and most of us do, be sure to thank them for their service and sacrifice. There are several Veterans Day events going on this weekend; check the St. Augustine Record for dates and times.

Historic Lincolnville Festival 2022

The annual festival returns with three days of live music, dancing, food and family activities, starting Friday, Nov. 11, at 102 M L King Ave. Local vendors of arts and crafts will be onsite as well as offerings of beer, wine and other beverages. Special events include, to name just a few, Jazz/Veterans Night on Friday, children’s entertainment on Saturday and Brunch and Christian Jazz Music on Sunday. ‘Fantastic Florida’ at St. Augustine Art Association

This exhibit, focusing on Florida’s “wild side of creatures, vegetation, waterways and wilderness,” opened last Friday and will continue through Dec. 30 at the STAAA gallery, 22 Marine St. It’s a juried show with local artists, who were invited to submit their artwork in any medium. Named one of the “100 greatest guitarists of all time,” Grammy award-winning singer Bonnie Raitt will take the stage in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340C A1A South. Known for her music that combines blues, rock, folk and country, Raitt’s best known songs include “Something to Talk About,” “Love Sneakin’ Up On You” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” She’ll be joined by singer/songwriter Marc Cohn, who wrote “Walking in Memphis.” 904-209-3472 or theamp.com

On the third Tuesday of each month, local singers/songwriters Bob Patterson and David Watt Beasley host other local singers/songwriters at the Beacon Listening Room, 830 Anastasia Blvd. on Anastasia Island. ‘Tru’

Recalling the last days of Truman Capote’s life, “Tru” will take the stage at Limelight Theatre’s Koger-Gamache Black Box Theatre, 11 Old Mission Ave., from Thursday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 20.
