Top 10 things to do Easter weekend in Cincinnati (March 29-31)

It's Easter weekend here in Cincinnati, and if you're not out searching for eggs all weekend, there are plenty of events happening in the Queen City.

If you're looking to spend some time with your family before the Easter Bunny visits this Sunday, check out the Cincinnati Art Museum's new lineup of exhibits or go shopping at a pop-up record fair. On Saturday evening, you can bring the whole family (including the pups) to a Cyclones game. Regardless of how you spend your weekend, ears hoping you have a hopping good time at these local events.

From jazz to country to indie rock, the Northside Record Fair has plenty of merchandise, vinyl records and cassettes for every kind of music lover. The event features over 40 tables of items for sale.

2. Art After Dark: Native Visions

Celebrate contemporary Native American and Indigenous Pacific-Rim artists and traditions with music from DJ Creepingbear, live painting performance with artist Leonard Harmon, free admission to food for purchase from Indigenous Chef, cash bar.

3. Middletonian 5K

Walk or run through the historic downtown Middletown this weekend in the sixth annual Middletonian 5K. The race begins and ends at the Butler County Warbirds Military History Museum and features a multitude of historical elements along its route provided by the Middletown's Historical Society. After the race, athletes can enjoy an afterparty at Gravel Road Brewing.

5. Queen of the West Burlesque Festival

This new festival unites burlesque and alternative performance art communities in Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Workshops take place during the day: 11 a.m. Rude Burlesque's chair workshop; 1 p.m. Boa Work with Madame Mira; 3 p.m. Willow's Liquid Motion sensual floorwork. In the evening, dress up in your most glamorous attire and enjoy the show.

6. Cincinnati Cyclones vs. Nailers: Pucks 'n Pups Night

Bring your dog with you to Heritage Bank Center for Pucks 'n Pups night! Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs, wiener dog races, and watch as the Cincinnati Cyclones take on the Wheeling Nailers. Tickets for dogs are sold separately and cost $5 each.

7. Accessible Expressions Ohio

This exhibition features 60 2D and 3D works from Ohio artists of all ages who identify as having a disability. The Cincinnati Art Museum partners with Art Possible Ohio to display this art presentation. The themes of this year's artwork are self-care and mental health. The exhibition opens on March 29 and will be on display in the Vance Waddell and Mayerson Galleries until May 12.

8. Percival Everett: 'James'

Join author Percival Everett at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center for a discussion of his new book entitled "James."
