Juneteenth For Everyone: A Conversation and Gospel Recital
It's not too late to honor the recent Juneteenth holiday. Join the Mizell Center and community leaders as they examine the historic and social complexity of Juneteenth. The event will also feature a gospel recital with performances by Charles Huff, Hope Lang and Doug Need.

Cocktail Cinema: 'Pulp Fiction'
The Palm Springs Art Museum presents Cocktail Cinema, a screening series featuring four iconic films and cocktails inspired by each of them. This month, the film is Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction," the hit classic following the lives of two mob hitmen, a boxer, a gangster and his wife, and a pair of diner bandits as they intertwine.
When: Cocktails start at 5 p.m.; film begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 29

Palm Springs VillageFest
Every Thursday night, Palm Canyon Drive is closed to cars so pedestrians can browse the plethora of vendors that take over the space for VillageFest. The mix of merchants include flowers, food, art and jewelry for patrons to shop, as well as live entertainment to enjoy.

Tuscano’s Country Fridays

It's time to get patriotic. Celebrate Independence Day with a concert in the Downtown Park, featuring The Long Run, a tribute act from Los Angeles dedicated to faithfully recreating the music of The Eagles.

Desert Hot Springs Fireworks Spectacular
Looking for a family-friendly affair this Fourth of July? The City of Desert Hot Springs will celebrate Independence Day with music, food and fireworks at this all-ages event.

Coachella Independence Day Celebration
There are plenty of ways to celebrate July Fourth in the east valley. The City of Coachella will honor Independence Day with fireworks, games, local food vendors, live music and more at Bagdouma Park.

Agua After Dark 4th of July Weekend Celebration Roller Rink
Agua Caliente brings roller skating after dark to celebrate Independence Day. Each session lasts an hour, and sessions after 9 p.m. are reserved for those 21 and older.
When: 7 p.m.-12 a.m. Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2

Desert Film Society presents 'Children of Nobody'
Desert Film Society presents one-time screening of the U.S. premiere of Israeli film "Children of Nobody," which is based on a true story. The film is set in Tel-Aviv’s Neve Tzedek neighborhood, specifically in an old house that operates as a shelter for youth from broken homes. Living on the fringes of Israeli society, these troubled boys must band together to save the shelter for at-risk youth that has kept them off the streets. Doors at Camelot Theatre unlock at 9:30 a.m. and the film begins promptly at 10 a.m. The screening will feature complimentary refreshments before and a facilitated Q&A after.
