The Coachella Valley is home to a number of events and activities to take part in during the hot summer months. In anticipation for these events, we've put together a list of things happening this week.

Pepe Aguliar Concert
Four-time Grammy and four-time Latin Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Pepe Aguilar is set to bring his beloved music to the desert on Friday. Aguilar has toured for decades in some of the most renowned venues in Latin America and the United States, and will now add the Coachella Valley's very own Acrisure Area to that list. Fans of Aguilar will recognize his highly acclaimed discography in a show that brings to life traditional Mexican aesthetics. Filled with banda, mariachi, live musicians and a mix of both new and old hits from Mexico, Aguilar's visit is much anticipated by lovers of ranchero, traditional and regional Mexican music alike.

Scary Desert Creatures and Scorpion Hunt
Meet our eight-legged neighbors who wander around the the desert floor at night by taking a trip to the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center. Experience the natural desert environment and its inhabitants in a whole new way by participating in an illustrated lecture later followed by a walk in the dark in search of scorpions. Be sure to bring a flashlight, arm chair and wear closed-toe shoes for this guided adventure in the dark. Participants will be provided with UV lights, but are welcome to bring their own.

Jesse & Joy Concert

Midland Concert
American country trio Midland is set to perform at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage this Friday. Palm Springs Art Museum Aluminaire House Lecture
In anticipation for the upcoming exhibition "Albert Frey and A. Lawrence Kocher’s Aluminaire House" discover everything there is to know in this hybrid Q&A event hosted by the Palm Springs Art Museum.
