Cirque Du Soleil presents 'Corteo'
Cirque Du Soleil's "Corteo" is coming to Acrisure Arena this week. This 100-minute touring production has a 25-minute intermission and follows the story of a clown watching his funeral taking place in a carnival-like atmosphere. With a multitude of acts, this festive show is sure to captivate the senses through its visuals and musical components.
When: 7:30p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31; 3:30p.m. and 7:30p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2; and 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3

Felipe Esparza BigFoo Comedy Tour
Stand-up comedian and actor Felipe Esparza is bringing his BigFoo Comedy Tour to the Coachella Valley this Friday. With a vast array of projects under his name, such as his stand-up specials on streaming platforms Netflix and HBO and ongoing podcast, Esparza is set to perform at the Spotlight 29 Casino as part of his tour. You must be 21 years or older to attend.

Debby Boone Purple Room Performance
The Purple Room in Palm Springs is bringing American singer, author and actress Debby Boone to perform this Friday and Saturday. Best known for her 1977 No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, "You Light Up My Life," Boone won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist the following year. Enjoy a drink with your dinner as you listen to this special performance by Debby Boone.

Dive-in Movie Night: 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie'
Enjoy a night soak under the stars with this screening of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie." Tickets can be pre-purchased at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center's front desk during the event until they sell out. Guests are encouraged to bring towels to sit on grass areas as poolside seating is limited. Slides will be open from 7:30 to 8 p.m., and snacks and treats will be sold onsite by food truck vendors. No outside chairs/furniture and food or beverages are allowed (except for bottled water).

Kool & The Gang
American R&B, soul, and funk band Kool & The Gang is set to play at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage this Saturday. Officially launched in 1969, and with several hit songs like "Celebration," "Cherish," "Jungle Boogie" and more, Kool & The Gang have garnered various accolades throughout the group's extensive career. The group continues to entertain fans across the globe through their live performances and will now do so in the desert.

Fellini Retrospective: 'Il Bidone'
The Camelot Theatre at the Palm Springs Cultural Center will celebrate over 100 years of Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini with its upcoming Fellini Retrospective. Fellini's films are known for his surreal, dream-like imager, eccentric characters and social critique. Enjoy some Italian food and drink specials, and mingle with others before the 1955 film "Il Bidone" screening.
