Tool Announce Show With Primus, Melvins, More

June 24 show appears to explain mysterious teaser posted last week

By Sam Sodomsky and Jazz Monroe.

Tool have enlisted Primus, Melvins, and more for an enormous show at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernadino, California, on June 24. The announcement appears to explain a cryptic teaser the band shared last week, featuring their logo and the date “6-24.” The Crystal Method will DJ at the show, and another “special guest” will apparently be announced soon. Tool previously announced a tour, including a headlining spot at Governors Ball in New York City. The band’s site promises an “unparalleled sonic and visual experience” for the tour. They’re reportedly at work on the 11-years-coming follow-up to 10,000 Days.

Elsewhere, Maynard James Keenan’s band A Perfect Circle are readying a record for 2017 and recently debuted some new material.
