Tony Danza’s daughters are making a rare appearance in a sweet campaign alongside their mom, Tracy.

To celebrate the launch of the Joe’s Jeans new soft rigid denim, the brand's creative director, celebrity stylist Dani Michelle, joined forces for a multi-generational campaign for Mother’s Day. The series features Tracy Danza alongside her two daughters, Emmie and Katie Danza.

“I think as we honor women on Mother’s Day, there’s something timeless about how denim works for every generation, baby to grandma, mother to daughter, a classic staple,” Michelle tells PEOPLE exclusively.

When it came to shooting multi-generational subjects like the Danzas (as well as Michelle and her own mom), the stylist says it was “overwhelming to watch the love of each family captured in photos.”

“Each laugh, hug, and smile radiated through the lens and in those moments it wasn’t about the shoot, but about this sentimental moment each family shared with us,” she shared.

Katie, 37, says that appearing in the campaign alongside her sister and mom was a "no brainer."

"Dani has been one of my closest friends since college and I trust her wholeheartedly," she tells PEOPLE. "So when she asked us to participate, it was a no brainer. The opportunity to have portraits taken of the three of us — in celebration of Mother’s Day — was something we couldn’t turn down. It was so special!"

She adds, "We love spending time together, so being able to do something like this was a treat. And working with the Joe’s Jeans team was amazing. The energy on set was so much fun."

As for her dad, Katie shares that he "loves the photos."

"We took similar portraits when Emmie and I were kids, so it’s fun to have an updated version," she says.

Katie shared that despite their individual styles (and height differences), she, her mom and her sister "definitely borrow things from each other."

"We each have a pretty unique style," she says. "Emmie is more edgy, my mom is very classic, and I fall somewhere in between."

Joe's Jeans latest campaign also stars Ashley Madekwe, Jamie Chung, Shanina Shaik, Jaime Dillon Ridge, Simone Harouche, Tori Praver Birnbaum, Brooke DeVard, Deepika Chopra, Dorianne Passman and Thea Segal.

Michelle also teamed with longtime friend and creative consultant, Stephanie Suganami, to bring the vision behind the shoot to life "capturing the love of a mother and the timelessness of denim in a portrait series," the release shares. The photos were shot by Michelle's husband, Ian Morrison, in Los Angeles.

“The new fabric is amazing,” Michelle shares of the latest denim launch. “We really created something different for the brand. And, as I have said, I am a denim girl and so are my friends. Partnering with these brilliant, talented women who balance motherhood and their demanding careers felt like such a natural way to bring the new styles to life.”
