Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz claims Schwartz and Sandy’s, the bar he co-owns with Tom Sandoval, is going through something of a “rebirth.”
Their other bar, Tom Tom, in which they invested with Lisa Vanderpump, is “thriving,” he says. They’ve started a new brunch, by the way, on the weekends. Noon to 4:00.
“Schwartz and Sandy’s, we’re resetting,” Tom tells Hollywood Life in an exclusive video interview. “We’re hanging in there.”
How’s his partner doing after Scandoval?
When the interviewer asks how Sandoval is doing these days, Schwartz says, “We’re in a bit of a re-birth. I hope we are … We’ve put a lot into [Schwartz and Sandy’s], and we’re just gonna keep on keepin’ on.”
The interviewer asks him, “How’s Raquel [Rachel Leviss] doing?”
“Honestly, I don’t talk to Raquel,” Tom responds. “But I wish her well. I haven’t talked to her in ages. I haven’t seen her either, but I hope she’s okay.”
“What do you think about Ariana [Madix] being labeled as ‘the villain’ in next season?” HL asks.
“People love her,” Tom replies. “She’s solidified herself as a fan favorite. She has nothing to worry about. She’s the sh*t. She’ll be fine.”
“What do you want to do long-term?” was the next question.
“Whoa! Five-year plan! I’ve gotta go,” Tom says, reacting with mock horror. “Don’t hit me with the five-year plan.”
What’s Tom’s long-term plan?
“What do you want to do? What’s the end goal?” the interviewer persists.
“I wanna get a farm,” Tom answers. “I wanna have llamas, goats, pigs. I’m serious. I wanna have seven or eight dogs, cats. I wanna have fluffy chickens.”
Apparently, Tom’s thought a lot about this bucolic retreat. “Have you ever seen a miniature cow?” he continues. “I want miniature cows. I want mules. Mules are very, um, sentimental. Donkeys … Okay, I gotta go.”
“One last thing,” the interviewer adds. “Would you ever date a reality show girl again? Is it too much trouble to date reality show people?”
Laughing, Tom answers, “The thing is once you date someone in this world, you’re gonna end up having to dissect your relationship. And when you dissect something, you kill it.”
Who knew Schwartzy could be so deep?
