Tom Sandoval’s still out there, taking two steps forward and two steps back with his Vanderpump Rules costars. While a few have forgiven him for his affair, others are finding this feat damn near impossible to master. As for Ariana Madix though, her understandable, protective boundaries are firm. Therefore, none of us should ever expect to see an amicable resolution going down between herself and Tom.

As if his affair weren’t bad enough though, Tom’s made a few additional missteps with his now-ex. For one, he spoke openly about Ariana’s mental health journey. Likewise, he also claimed that Ariana didn’t even like the people on VPR. On this second accusation though, Tom’s now backtracking his words just a wee bit, because as it turns out, he was merely exaggerating about Ariana’s feelings.

Like, what I like meant was, like…

This week, Tom appeared alongside Jax Taylor on Watch What Happens Live. Here, a caller rang in with a question for the world’s best penis flute player. (Also, Tom, lemme try that). This question was simple though, with the caller asking “What did you mean when you said that Ariana doesn’t like anyone in the group, and what proof do you have that she doesn’t like Lala, Scheana, and Schwartz?”

“Good question,” Andy Cohen replied. Agreeing with Andy, Tom explained “I was, uh, yeah, thank you for your question. I was being a little over the top. Um, but, at times, I’ve like, over the years, I was the one who was showing up for both of us, uh, a lot of times. And so, I felt like, you know, if these people are important to you, or whatever, like, you’ll show up, right?”

Ending his explanation, Tom expressed that this is all that he had meant. He then admitted once again that he had simply been just “a little dramatic” with this statement that he had made on-air.

So there you have it. Tom’s taking it all back. He owned up to his misspoken words, and for that, I have to give him credit.

The three-part Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion will air on May 14, May 21, and May 28 on Bravo. Each part will stream (unedited!) the next day on Peacock.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT THERE MAY BE SOME HINT OF A TRUTH THOUGH IN TOM’S STATEMENT? COULD ARIANA POSSIBLY DISLIKE HER COSTARS? ARE YOU GLAD THAT TOM OWNED UP TO HIS ERROR?
