Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman's Son Connor Posted a Rare Throwback with His Sister Bella

Sibling rivalry may be a thing, but not in the Cruise clan. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s son Connor celebrated sister Isabella with a rare throwback photo. Connor took to his Instagram to show his love for sister, Bella. The photo, captioned “Day 1 homies,” toddler-age Isabella in a full ’90s kid outfit: velvet dress, white tights and frilly shoes, holding an infant Connor in a darling pair of red coveralls.

Connor and Bella, now 24 and 26 respectively, may have grown up in the public eye, but they spent their adulthoods cementing their own identities away from the spotlight. Connor has made his career as a successful DJ, while Bella has a fashion line called BKC, Bella Kidman Cruise.

The adopted siblings’ names tend to pop up in discussion their famous mother, Nicole Kidman. It’s been said that the two have long been estranged from Kidman. According to an ex-member of the Church of Scientology (of which father Tom Cruise is a member), Connor and Bella “had no choice” to estrange themselves from their mother after their parents’ divorce in August 2001. The ex-scientologist claimed that the children were indoctrinated into the religion of Scientology and became very much “isolated” from their mom, who left the Church of Scientology prior to her split from Cruise.

Kidman doesn’t discuss her relationship with her kids regularly, nor does she post photos of Connor and Isabella as often as pictures of her two daughters with new husband Keith Urban. Still, there does seem to have been some attempt at reconciliation. According to the Daily Mail in 2016, Kidman and Isabella had an “emotional reunion,” though nothing has ever been confirmed on the subject.

Regardless of these two’s relationship with their parents, it’s evident Connor and Isabella love each other a great deal which makes all the difference.
