Tom Cruise Is Getting a Harsh Warning From His Rumored Girlfriend's Ex-Husband
Tom Cruise is rumored to be smitten with a new love interest but her ex-husband is very publicly letting the actor know what might be in store if he continues his new romance. According to recent reports, Cruise is “besotted” with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, whom he was spotted getting close to at a party in London’s Mayfair on Decemeber 9 but while insiders seem hopeful about the budding romance, Khayrova’s ex-husband Dmitry Tsetkov is not.
Tsetkov, a Russian oligarch who made his money in diamonds and mining, reportedly also met Khayrova in London’s Mayfair in 2009. They were married for 11 years before they split in 2020 ahead of an expensive three-year divorce battle. During their marriage, the couple welcomed two children.

Tsetkov warned the Mission: Impossible actor, 61, that he better “keep his wallet wide open” to keep up with Khayrova’s “expensive and luxurious tastes.” He claims that his ex-wife, 36, he spent around $12 million on clothes and over $2 million on handbags during their marriage.
Tsetkov issued the warning via an interview with the Daily Mail from his $30 million mansion in South East England, where he once lived with his ex-wife. “Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life,” Tsetkov told the outlet. “I’m happy for her, I wish her all the best.”

It seems Tsetkov and Khayrova are not on good terms after their expensive divorce. Tsetkov claims he watched his fortune dwindle thanks to the divorce that allegedly cost him nearly $200 million and forced him to sell some of his assets to pay her.
“I haven’t spoken with Elsina about this because our preferred method of communication is through our lawyers. She’s 36, she’s beautiful, financially independent and loves life,” he says.
Ironically, Tsetkov says Cruise is his favorite actor but claims Khayrova has “never been a big Tom Cruise fan” and didn’t know his movies during their marriage. “I’m sure all that has changed now,” he adds.
Tsetkov, who claims he is wanted by the Kremlin and is at risk of being killed if he ever returns to Russia, says he was even hoping Cruise would play him in a movie about his life.
“I told the producer that the only actor who could play me is Tom Cruise. We’re about the same height and weight and I would be honoured if that could happen. I couldn’t think of anyone better to play me than Tom. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to meet him one day to discuss this project,” he says.
