Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, the night saw the former New England Patriots athlete be on the receiving end of multiple jokes from comedians, friends and former teammates including host Hart, Julian EdelmanRob GronkowskiNikki Glaser, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss and Kim Kardashian.

Hart's roast took aim at Tom’s 2022 divorce from Gisele Bündchen, as well as her new boyfriend, her jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente.

"Gisele gave you an ultimatum," Hart said before making fun of Tom choosing to "unretire" and play a final and unsuccessful season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "She said you have to retire or you're done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it."

"You know who also f---ed their coach? Gisele, she f---ed her karate coach," Hart added. "Tom, how did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes a day?"
