Tom Brady Says Wife Gisele Bundchen Doesn't Want Him Talking Politics

It seems as if everyone is discussing Tuesday night's election. Well, almost everyone.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Tom Brady refused to answer questions about Donald Trump's win over Hillary Clinton at the insistence of his wife, Gisele Bundchen.

"I talked to my wife and she said I can't talk about politics anymore," Brady told reporters. "I think that's a good decision for our family."

While the 39-year-old Super Bowl champion has been silent on his political leanings for most of his career, a red "Make America Great Again" hat was snapped in Brady's locker last fall, leading some to question if he was supporting Trump for president.

What's more, during a speech in New Hampshire on Monday, Trump claimed that Brady called him earlier in the day to say that he had voted for the candidate, leading one reporter to ask Brady why he gave Trump permission to make his vote known.

"Why did I give him permission?" Brady replied. "So you're assuming I gave people permission?"

Before Trump was named the 45th President of the United States on Tuesday in a stunning upset over Clinton, Bundchen took to Instagram denying that she and her husband were supporting the Republican nominee.

"NO!" the 36-year-old model wrote in response to someone who asked if the couple was supporting Trump.

Now that the election is over, Brady said he just wants to focus on next week's New England Patriots game against the Seattle Seahawks.

"At the end of the day, I have a lot of relationships with a lot of people, and I don't think a lot of people are entitled to what my conversations are with friends of mine or people that I may speak with," Brady said.
