Todd Herendeen's Tribute the the Stars coming to the Zebulon

Oct. 3—CAIRO — Two years ago, the Zebulon Theater, the oldest theater in Georgia placed in downtown Cairo, welcomed in Todd Herendeen. Herendeen kicked off the Zebulon's concert series that night with his Elvis tribute show to a sold out crowd. Now, Herendeen is coming back to Cairo with much more on his plate.

This Saturday at the Zebulon Theater, Herendeen will put on his Tribute to the Stars show for a packed house that will see him impersonate some of the biggest stars in music.

"He'll be showcasing and do all the costume changes. He'll do Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley," said Executive Director of the Zebulon Theater Robert Dykes.

Those aren't the only stars that will be a part of Herendeen's show. Though it is yet to be revealed, Dykes said that Herendeen has added some things to his show as every show is a bit different.

"This year he's throwing in some new stuff that he's added," Dykes said.

This isn't just some local production from a person who does Elvis impersonations on the side. Herendeen is a professional entertainer and people are coming from all over to see him perform at the Zebulon.

"We have a lot of people from around the surrounding counties. Thomas, Grady, Decatur, we have them down in Florida," Dykes said. "I just sold two tickets to Charleston, South Carolina. We have people from all over that come."

The Herendeen shows typically sell out fast. However, according to Dykes there are still a few tickets left. The money generated from the ticket sales will go toward the Zebulon Theater, helping to maintain the historic theater so it can continue to provide entertainment to its many patrons.

Todd Herendeen's Tribute to the Stars will kick off on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
