Todd Frazier reminisces about the Little League World Series on 'Old Baseball Cards'
True story: I found myself in the New York Mets clubhouse not too long ago, when Todd Frazier stopped me and wanted to talk about baseball cards. One thing led to another and here’s Frazier re-living his childhood on a brand new episode of “Old Baseball Cards.”
In this episode, you’ll learn what a lot of people in baseball already know: Todd Frazier is big personality, with quick quips and a fun-loving bravado. In this episode, we open a pack of 1999 Fleer Ultra and some 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter (which feature a mixture of current players and legends) — which lead to conversations about Nolan Ryan, Derek Jeter, Mark McGwire, Bernie Williams and others.
This is a good time to talk with Frazier about his childhood too — as the Little League World Series continues on this this week. We first met him as the star of the Tom’s River (N.J.) Little League team back in 1998, when they won the World Series. So of course we had to talk about that.
