Todd Chrisley Posts About 'Tough Times' And God, But Fans Aren't Having It

Todd Chrisley, star of "Chrisley Knows Best," is keeping a brave face as he and wife Julie fight tax evasion charges, but fans of the show are not interested.

Posting Messages From a Televangelist

Chrisley posted an Instagram message by Robert Harold Schuller that said: "Tough times never last, but tough people do."

Robert Schuller was a Christian televangelist.

Chrisley, in his post, added how he's holding onto his faith during this time.

"Trust and believe that we are holding the right hand of God on this walk we are on, if he brings us to it he will bring us through it. Please don’t fall victim to false prophets, don’t give attention to the attention seekers, stay steady on your course, grieve the loss of ones you love that didn’t love you, pray for them even though they have wronged you, forgive them for yourself and ask God to move them on."

Chrisley: Nothing To See Here

Chrisley wanted to let fans know that the show is not canceled, and that the family is still hard at work making "Chrisley Knows Best."

Some fans aren't so convinced that everything is going to turn out okay.

"I hope none of these allegations against you are true," said one Instagram user, while another expressed worry that Chrisley is not being honest here.

"I hope you're telling the truth, man... I'm so upset about this."

He Still Has Some Support

Still, there are some who are ready to stand by him.

"We got your back Todd! Give it to God and move on!"

"Life is full of obstacles my friend. This one you will conquer without any doubt. Stay strong and fight. The truth ALWAYS prevails."

We'll have to wait and see who's right and who's wrong.
