Schiffman got down on one knee and proposed to Hoda on a romantic getaway on the beach in Mexico.

It is unknown when the couple will be hitched.

Hoda's Fiance Keeps a Low Profile

While Hoda is an open-book, her fiance, Joel Schiffman keeps a low profile. His net worth is between $15-$19 million. Hoda earns $12 million on The Today Show. They are nothing short of a power couple. Both are doing rather well for themselves!

Hoda was not expecting the proposal.

During the Today Show on Nov. 25, she told her co-anchors that Joel managed to hide the impending question quite well.

"I was totally shocked...he had a good poker face," she told viewers. "My heart has literally been pounding."

Congratulations Hoda and Joel

Hoda showed off her engagement ring on the Today Show when it was announced that she was engaged to Joel.

Her co-hosts were surprised by the exciting news.

Schiffman and Kotb began dating in 2013 and are parents to daughters--Haley Joy and Hope Catherine.

The couple celebrated six years together in June.

“Yesterday marked 6 years with this incredible man. 6 years..2 children..2 new jobs...1 grateful heart,” Kotb wrote at the time.

Kotb credits her friends for setting her up with Schiffman.

“Ps thank you @jolamathisen and #tyler .. if it weren’t for you two.. we never would have met on that night,” she added to her friends who set her up with Schiffman.

Hoda opened up about her relationship with Schiffman, a financier, back in 2015 after going public with their relationship.

Hoda and Joel: Happily Ever After

On Andy Cohen's show, "Watch What Happens Live," She gushed over Schiffman.

"You know, I met him a couple of years ago. He's the greatest guy ever," she said at the time.

They still haven't told their daughters, hadn’t told her daughters, Haley Joy, 2, and Hope Catherine, who she adopted in April. “We’re still trying to figure out that part,” she admitted.

Back in 2016, Kotb announced on Sirius XM that she was moving in with her then-boyfriend, Schiffman.

“It’s a little weird to be in your 50s and we’re like ‘Hey, we’re moving in!’ ” Kotb said. “It’s like we’re kids. It’s so weird.”

We wish the happy couple success on their impending nuptials.
