'Today' Show Fans Are Going Wild Over Savannah Guthrie's Dramatic New Hair

Savannah Guthrie is ready for the weekend! In a new Instagram post on Friday, the Today anchor unveiled a dramatic new hairstyle, which included a bright pink color paired with voluminous curls and fall-inspired sun hat.

"Ready for the weekend!!" Guthrie captioned the adorable post. The Today star tagged the hairstylist credited with bringing the beautiful look to life: Kelly O'Neill. "Can the anchor of TODAY have pink hair? Asking for a friend," she added. We think yes!

And fans agree. Guthrie's followers are going wild over her new 'do. "It's so cute!" one fan wrote. "Flat-oust obsessed with this look. 😍"

Guthrie's Today co-stars also had a lot to say about her new hair. "Remember yesterday when I said you were just the coolest?" Jill Martin said. "Time of death: 9:16am. 🔥😍," Jenna Bush Hager added about the time Guthrie posted the photo to Instagram.

This isn't the first time Guthrie blessed her Instagram fans with pink hair. In a post from 2017, the Today anchor showed off her rosy locks when promoting her children's book, Princess Wear Pants.

"Pink hair don't care!! When promoting princess book always have pink hair," she captioned the photo.

Guthrie isn't the only Today anchor who showed off a new look recently. In a Today with Hoda and Jenna segment, co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Bush Hager had fans vote on their looks for the show in honor of #ChoosedayTuesday, a day that celebrates the beauty of making positive choices.

For Kotb, the options included a wavy updo, a flipped-out wave, or a pin-straight look, while Bush Hager's fans had to choose between a shoulder-length wavy look, straight-back style, or an updo. In the end, fans agreed for the co-hosts to both wear updos, and they unveiled their new looks on the show and in an Instagram post.
