TNA Xplosion Results – April 16th, 2024

The following matches and segments are from the April 16, 2024 episode of TNA Xplosion.

The show opened with From The Vault, featuring the Motor City Machine Guns facing Team 3D from TNA Genesis 2007.

Next, Around The Ring saw Gia Miller speak with Rosemary. They discussed the demon inside Rosemary and how she manages the split personality of her gimmick.

Next, Xplosion presented another From The Vault. Beer Money faced the MCMG in an Impact match from 8/12/2010. These matches come hot on the heels of rumours that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have signed with AEW.

Kevin Knight vs Steve Maclin

In the only match on Xplosion, NJPW’s Kevin Knight battled Steve Maclin in a huge main event.

The bout was a big clash of styles, with the high-flying Knight battled the ground-and-pound style of Maclin. It was a fast-paced match, owing to it’s five-minute run time. Maclin used his size to his advantage throughout.

There was a botch early on, when a body press saw both men falling awkwardly. Knight hit some impressive moves, but Maclin dominated the bulk of the clash.

Kight nearly picked up the win with a series of flash pin falls, but a massive spear into the corner and a KIA put Knight away. Steve Maclin won the match and the main event of TNA Xplosion.
