TMZ publishes photos of bruises on Ezekiel Elliott's accuser
The NFL’s explanation of why it suspended Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and its letter to Elliott mentioned photographic evidence of his alleged domestic violence against his former girlfriend.
On Friday evening, TMZ published some photos purported to be of the accuser, showing bruising on multiple places on her body.

The NFL looked at those photos (or photos that were similar; TMZ didn’t specify if the NFL saw these exact photos) and that was part of what led the league to suspend the running back. TMZ said Elliott told police investigators he didn’t cause the bruises and they happened when the accuser was in a bar fight.
There were three incidents from July of 2016 documented by the NFL in a letter to Elliott. For each the league said medical experts reviewed photographs and found the injuries were “recent and consistent” with the victim’s description of the incident.
Elliott is considering his options, which might include fighting the suspension in court according to Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson. The NFL was thorough in its report, which will make Elliott’s appeal interesting. Among the evidence Elliott will be trying to fight are photographs like the ones TMZ published.
