TLC Postpones Select Tour Dates On Doctor’s Orders

TLC has cancelled several upcoming Canadian tour dates after doctors advised T-Boz not to perform since falling ill.

The group took to their Instagram to make the announcement on Monday (May 13). “We deeply regret to inform you that we must cancel the upcoming dates. Unfortunately, a few members of our tour, including T-boz, have fallen ill with the flu. As a result, she has lost her voice. Doctors have advised her not to perform this week,” the statement read.

It concluded, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to the opportunity to perform for you in the near future. We love you and will see you soon.”

The cancelled dates include May 14, 16, and 18. The Niagara Falls date for May 17 has been rescheduled for Oct. 3.

Back in January, TLC cancelled their international CrazySexyCool 30th anniversary tour featuring Busta Rhymes and En Vogue.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of our upcoming tour. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment to our fans. Your support means everything, and we promise to make it up to you. We can’t wait to be back in your beautiful countries soon. Thank you for your understanding and love,” read the statement.

In the caption of the post, the group chalked up the cancellation to “unforeseen circumstances,” and there’s no word on whether or not that tour will be revived at a later date.

T-Boz and Chilli did perform as scheduled at DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! at the Prudential Center on Saturday (May 11). Based on clips from attendees, they “looked fantastic and sounded great” while performing several hits including “No Scrubs,” “Waterfalls,” “Creep,” “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg,” “Red Light Special,” and “Baby-Baby-Baby.”
