Tinsley Mortimer and businessman Robert Bovard are married!

The couple tied the knot in Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2023, after Mortimer’s rep confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE just a month prior.

The entrepreneur, who currently serves as the president of Augusta Iron & Steel Works in Georgia, first appeared on Mortimer’s Instagram in early October 2023.

News of their relationship sent the internet ablaze as The Real Housewives of New York alum has lived a predominately private life out of the spotlight since her tumultuous split from ex-fiancé Scott Kluth in 2021.

So, who is Tinsley Mortimer's husband? Here is everything to know about Robert Bovard and his relationship with the former reality TV star.

He is the president of an iron and steel company

According to his LinkedIn page, Bovard studied political science and government at Sewanee: The University of the South, a small liberal arts college in Tennessee.

He graduated in 2005 and worked as a legislative correspondent for then-U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss for three years before enrolling in a graduate program at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. In 2011, Bovard graduated from UNC with a master's degree in business administration.

Bovard has been with Augusta Iron & Steel Works, Inc., in Augusta, Georgia, for over a decade. He was initially brought on as a sales representative after grad school and has since risen through the ranks. He currently serves as the company’s president, a title he’s held since 2017.

He was previously married

Bovard was previously married to Mary Dial Bovard before she died on June 5, 2021, from a brain tumor, according to her obituary.

The couple met while working in Washington, D.C. and were married for 12 years. They have three children together and in Mary’s memory, he established a fund at their school in Georgia.

He is a father of three

Bovard welcomed three kids in his previous relationship. He has a son named Robert Dennis Bovard Jr. and a pair of twin girls, one of whom shares the same name as her late mother. Their names are Mary Ellison Bovard and Ruth Dennis Bovard.

He proposed to Mortimer with an emerald ring

Mortimer coyly debuted her new beau via her Instagram Story in October 2023. The RHONY alum shared a photo of her and Bovard posing alongside the water with two girls and a boy, whose identities were kept private with heart emojis covering their faces.

“Family vacay before the big day!” she wrote across the picture in big lettering. She hasn't specified if it was about her engagement or another personal event.

In another snap posted to her Instagram Story, Mortimer was seen donning a dazzling emerald ring on her left ring finger.

He and Mortimer got married in November 2023

Bovard and Mortimer wed on Nov. 11, 2023, in Palm Beach, Florida. The bride walked down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier tulle gown, while the groom donned a white Ralph Lauren tux jacket and a green bow tie.

"I feel so blessed and honored to have found this kind, handsome man with three precious children to love," Tinsley told Town & Country. "My wedding day was truly perfect in every way."

As for who attended, several of Mortimer's former RHONY castmates didn't get an invite, including Luann de Lesseps and Kelly Killoren Bensimon.

He and Mortimer live in Georgia

The origin of Mortimer and Bovard’s romance is a bit of a mystery; however, Mortimer moved to the same town as Bovard sometime after her split from Kluth in March 2021.

Her whereabouts were later revealed by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Augusta native Sutton Stracke, who serendipitously ran into Mortimer during a trip back to her hometown.

In November 2022, Stracke posted a picture of her Mortimer on Instagram and captioned it, “Guess who I found living in my hometown? @tinsleymortimer is the perfect match for Augusta! Can’t wait to see more of her on my visits home.”

Mortimer confirmed her new zip code in the comments. “I love Augusta! Can’t wait for you to show me the town!” she wrote.
