Tinashe is seeking a temporary restraining order against a man she claims began targeting her online in 2022. According to TMZ, the singer is allegedly being stalked by Ramon Oppikofer, who was arrested outside of her Los Angeles home.

What the “Link Up” performer believed to be online fandom when Oppikofer began to tag her on Instagram escalated to harmful territory after he arrived at her brother’s private birthday party uninvited last month.

At the event, the 30-year-old singer was allegedly handed a hotel room key from Oppikofer and was forced to laugh the unwarranted gesture off as the key was promptly handed back.

The alarming behavior did not stop there. Oppikofer continued to stalk Tinashe by allegedly showing up unannounced at her residence multiple times. According to the tabloid, the first incident occurred days after the birthday party, with Oppikofer walking up and down her street.

Tinashe claims to have called law enforcement, who arrived only to find Oppikofer had exited the neighborhood. Still, the alleged stalker came back the next day and allegedly rang her doorbell with no response. According to her allegations, he returned the same day in an SUV, yelling her name as people inside confronted him until he left the property.

Allegedly, Oppikofer returned a third time that day, ringing the doorbell and being met by Tinashe’s father before breaking into the home. The singer claims she sought safety in a locked area, which Oppikofer attempted to open. He was then confronted by music studio co-workers who were able to have him exit the building. Oppikofer remained outside the property where he was eventually arrested by Los Angeles police.

Oppikofer was booked for misdemeanor trespassing and released shortly thereafter due to L.A. County’s no-bail policies. According to TMZ, Tinashe is “scared for her life” as she awaits a judge to sign off on the order. An investigation by LAPD Threat Management is ongoing.
