Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon’s Sexy Bruno Mars Barbershop Quintet
The incomparable Tina Fey was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, helping by bring her pimpin’ barbershop quintet skills to Bruno Mars’s sexy tune, “That’s What I like.” When she and Fallon sang, “Go pop it for a pimp, pop-pop it for me. Turn around and drop it for a pimp, drop-drop it for me,” it was like this song was actually designed for a barbershop quintet!
Other lyrics that really blended into barbershop style included, “I’ll rent a beach house in Miami, wake up with no jammies. Lobster tail for dinner. Julio serve that scampi.”
And let’s not forget, “Sex by the fire at night, silk sheets and diamonds all white. Lucky for you, that’s what I like.”
Tina Fey, the best-selling author, multiple Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning writer and performer, is the producer of two very funny shows, Great News — which airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which begins its third season next Friday on Netflix.
