Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, & Maya Rudolph Had the Most Epic Reunion for a Screening of 'Mean Girls'

Let’s be real about something: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph aren’t regular moms. They’re cool moms. The trio of BFFs got together over the weekend to check out the latest iterations of Fey’s Mean Girls, and the video compilation Poehler shared to TikTok proves these ladies had a total blast.
In the clip, which you can check out below, Poehler captures moments with Rudolph and Fey hitting up a mall to go see the film adaptation of the Mean Girls musical, in which Fey stars. The ladies were all smiles and bundled up for the cold weather. The video also included audio of the song “Not My Fault” by Mean Girls star Renée Rapp and Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion.

Fey, Poehler, and Rudolph’s friendship goes back decades. The ladies all appeared on Saturday Night Live together and came up through similar improv backgrounds at the start of their respective careers. All these years later, they’re still just as close as ever — and as funny. Remember when they perfectly played off one another at the start of the 2019 Academy Awards?
It’s also no wonder Rudolph and Poehler joined Fey for a fun screening of Mean Girls. The original film, starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried, premiered 20 years ago. The script was co-written by Fey and she also starred in a small role as Ms. Norbury, which she reprises in the movie musical iteration. We’ve always loved the friendship and collaboration between these funny ladies. If anything, we can only imagine how much joy they shared seeing the film together.
