Timothy Olyphant explains why he turned down Vin Diesel's role in 'Fast and Furious'

Timothy Olyphant was on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen where he discussed passing on the role of Dominic Toretto from the ultra-successful Fast and Furious franchise. When asked about the turning down the role Olyphant said, "I just thought, well, this will just be stupid, and I thought no one is gonna wanna see this movie eight or nine different times. I mean, by the third or fourth sequel, people are gonna definitely get bored of it. Right?" The Fast and Furious franchise has grossed over $5 billion globally to date. It has also made Vin Diesel a very wealthy international superstar. But when Olyphant was asked if he regrets turning down the role, he said, "No. It's not my thing." Considering Olyphant is a successfully television star and heir to the wealthy Vanderbilt family, it makes it more believable that he doesn't have regrets. Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sundays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
