Timothée Chalamet Set as Next SNL Host, Ahead of Wonka Premiere

Timothée Chalamet is ready for his encore as Saturday Night Live host.
Having first lorded over Studio 8H in December 2020, Chalamet will do so again on Saturday, Nov. 11, it was announced during this weekend’s show.

Chalamet nearly had two major films to promote this fall — Dune: Part 2, and Wonka. The former, though, got pushed to March of next year, while his turn as the candy man of lore will hit theaters Dec. 15.
Making their debut as SNL musical guest on Nov. 11 will be boygenius, the American indie supergroup consisting of American singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus.
SNL this weekend was hosted by “Mr. Nice Guy” stand-up comic Nate Bargatze, with musical guest Foo Fighters. On Nov. 4, NBC will air a repeat of the season premiere hosted by Pete Davidson with musical guest Ice Spice and, you know, just a few cameos.
