The YouTube twink has arrived.

The only thing worse than sleep paralysis? The red-undie-wearing demon it conjures (or not...?).

During his second stint as the host of Saturday Night Live, Timothée Chalamet tackled his most unexpected role yet, playing Grammy-nominated Australian pop star Troye Sivan. In the sketch, a distressed patient (played by Sarah Sherman) tells her doctor (Bowen Yang) about the mysterious figure that has been plaguing her sleep. Luckily, Dr. Yi has found a way to summon the sleep paralysis demon while she is awake.

When his machine turns on, Chalamet appears in a white tank top and floppy blond wig, reminiscent of Sivan in his "Got Me Started" music video.

Sherman describes him as "a guy — but, like, a gay guy," but Chalamet corrects her: "Not just any gay guy, homie. It's me, Troye Sivan!"

With the crowd cheering him on, Chalamet then performs the choreography from Sivan's music video — which includes pulling down his pants to show off his "tiny red undies."

When asked if he is indeed a demon, he replies, "No, not quite, girlie. I'm an Australian YouTube twink–turned–indie-pop star, and model–turned–HBO actor Troye Sivan, being played by an American actor who can't do an Australian accent. Bye, diva!"

Sherman then asks the obvious question: "Why does he have my psyche in a choke hold?"

Chalamet as Sivan replies, "Isn't it obvious, homie? I look like a moisturized Machine Gun Kelly, and I'm the most iconic blouse ever. Bye, diva!"

Despite her initial anguish, Sherman eventually accepts her fate and decides not to undergo treatment to get rid of her Sivan demon. But saying this aloud only encourages more Sivans to appear: Boygenuius members Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus then appear as Sivan — red undies included. Together, they perform the "Got Me Started" choreography once more.

The cheering SNL studio audience was not alone in their love of the sketch — Sivan celebrated the parody by changing his Instagram profile to a picture of Chalamet dressed up as him.

"WHY IS LIFE SO WEIRDDDDD RN LMAO IM DEAD," he captioned a repost of the sketch. He also shared a photo of him watching the video on his Instagram stories.
