When they started dating
Brad Pitt was one of the hottest actors of the 90s. As one of the sexiest men alive, Pitt's personal life became the talk of the tabloids.
Early in his career, he dated Robin Givens, Juliette Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow.
After his break up with Paltrow, Brad was set up on a blind date with Jennifer. The couple's date was arranged by their agents.
Sparks flew and the couple began dating. Hollywood's top actor dating television's favorite actress drew a lot of media attention for the couple.
Every week tabloid ran photos of the couple on the town or reported on their date nights.
Their marriage
After nearly two years of dating, Pitt proposed to Aniston.
On July 29, 2000, the couple married at their home in Malibu. It was a star-studded affair, guests included the cast of Friends, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.
Pitt and Aniston settled into married life, while also maintaining their acting careers. Brad even made a guest appearance on Friends, playing a high-school enemy of Rachel's.
When Brad and Jennifer married, the media attention didn't stop. The couple was often bombarded with questions on when and if they'd start a family.
Their divorce
In January 2005, Pitt and Aniston stunned Hollywood when they announced their divorce.
Speculation swirled on what caused the split. Some wondered if the topic of children was an issue. Brad wanted to be a father, but rumors were Jennifer didn't want kids.
The other rumor had to do with Brad's Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Brad and Angelina denied an affair, but after Pitt's divorce was finalized, he stepped out with Angelina.

After eleven years together, Angelina and Brad broke up in 2016. The couple had a long, and nasty divorce battle. In April 2019, their divorce was finalized.
As for Jennifer, her marriage to Justin Theroux came to an end in 2017 after two years of marriage.
With Jennifer and Brad single again, fans began wishing for a reunion for the couple.
Jennifer and Brad seem to have no hard feelings against each other. The two appear to be friends and Brad was even invited to Jennifer's 50th birthday party back in February.
Just recently, Brad also attended a Christmas party at Jennifer's place.
Reports like these keep adding fuel to the rumors that Jennifer and Brad could be getting back together.
