'Time to mend': Bella Thorne apologizes to mom 'for the words I have said'

Bella Thorne isn't done showing her vulnerable side.

The former Disney star took to Instagram Monday to share a NSFW message to her mother, saying she loves her even though their relationship is far from perfect.

"Dear mother I’m sorry for the words I have said I needed to get them out from lingering underneath my skin..." she wrote in the caption. "I know your life hasn’t been perfect and I know that that’s why mine hasn’t been either, everything in life is a mystery but what’s not, is this infinite undying love I have for you.

"Our relationship is (expletive) up but I’m glad we are here," the actress continued, "and I’m grateful we have time to mend. I love you mommy"

The Instagram post shows the handwritten message next to a collage of photos of Thorne with her mother, Tamara Thorne.

Thorne posted the photo the same day ABC aired her "Good Morning America" interview, where she came out as pansexual. The 21-year-old, who came out as bisexual on Twitter in 2016, said she didn't know she was pansexual until recently.

"You like beings," she said, in describing pansexuality. "You like what you like. Doesn't have to be a girl or a guy or a he or she or they or this or that. It's literally you like personality. You just like a being."

In the interview, Thorne also talked about enduring sexual abuse as a child, which she described as "Stockholm syndrome."

"When you're raised with someone and you don't know that it's wrong, it's just very like an everyday occurrence, like no big deal," she said.

Thorne tackles her relationships, sexuality and struggles in her new book "The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray," a collection of poems published Tuesday.
