Slowly Turning To Evil

Angelina Jolie has appeared in a time-lapse video where she transforms into the Disney character Maleficent, and the reconstruction is breathtaking.

For one of the first steps, Jolie's hair gets swept up into braids, which are then made into buns that are captured underneath her budding horns.

A Team Does All the Work

During the 43-second video, a team buzzes around her working on different areas -- her makeup and her hair, while someone also works on prosthetics for her cheeks to give her that special "Maleficent" look.

"There is no one in the world that could play Maleficent except for Angelina Jolie," says Elle Fanning in a recent clip. Fanning plays princess Aurora in the original film.

Rocking a New 'Do

As the video plays, AC/DC's "Back In Black" can be heard -- a fitting tribute for the evil, deadly fairy.

"Seeing her for the first time back in the black cloak and horns, it’s very exciting," says Fanning.

'Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil' Premieres Oct. 18

The end of the video is stylized so that only Jolie's lips, painted a devilish red, are in color. It looks like she's wearing eye special contacts too. For one of the final shots, Jolie smiles into the camera wearing fangs.

Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil is the sequel to the 2014 film. It takes place several years after she made nice with those in the human kingdom. The film is out Oct. 18.
