Time Arc Theatre brings timeless love songs to the stage

Feb. 12—SUPERIOR — Love is in the air at the Old Post Office.

Time Arc Theatre continues its 2023-2024 season with "Timeless Love: Love Songs Through the Ages" in its theater space on the third floor ballroom of the building at 1401 Tower Ave.

The show will include a mix of timeless love songs for people to listen or sing along to — with or without a Valentine's date. The show includes a mix of soft ballads, rock, country and Broadway tunes.

Sponsored by Keyport Restaurant and Lounge and Superior, Water, Light and Power, the production runs for two shows only at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. The ballroom is accessible with an elevator.

No one has to worry about forgetting the romantic holiday just because it lands on a busy Wednesday, said director Cheri Tesarek.

"Since Valentine's Day is in the middle of the week, this is the perfect event for a belated Valentine's celebration with your favorite Valentine," Tesarek said. "Enjoy refreshments as you listen to love songs strung together with stories from history written by Teddie Meronek."

Tesarek, who directed Time Arc's April Fools Fundraiser last year, will also sprinkle in some trivia questions for the audience for added fun.
