Timberland Knits Together "Future73" Collection

Timberland has unveiled the third installment of its Future73 project, collaborating with Suzanne Oude Hengel, accomplished knit researcher, technician, footwear designer and founder of Knit in Motion (KiM).

Launching the "Timberland x Suzanne Oude Hengel Future73 Collection," the joint creative effort delivers a new Knitted Slip-On Clog, an updated version of The Original Timberland Boot, as well as a slew of knit apparel.

The collection's footwear category welcomes a first for the brand, reimagining the Future73 Knit 6-Inch Boot in yarn. The innovative shoe arrives with a one-piece sculptural green knit upper and protective TPU layer, demonstrating its function measures up to its form. Joining the boot is the Knit Clog, a cozy and seamless footwear option, boasting a knit upper that molds to the foot. Both shoes feature spacer fabrics Hengel developed through her research.

Joining the boot and clog is a assortment of knitwear crafted from Italian yarn, presenting items "unlike anything Timberland has ever done." The capsule sees a genderless SS Knit Tee with ombre kimono sleeves, doused in shades of orange, red and white or "Lime-Punch" and "Skylight." Meanwhile, the Knit Base Layer and matching Knit Skirt stand their ground in "Dark Denim," while a multicolored birdseye jacquard-knitted Blanket Scarf adds vibrancy in extra fine merino wool.

The Timberland x Suzanne Oude Hengel Future73 Collection will launch on June 6 on Timberland's online store and in the brand's brick and mortar locations. Prices range from $150 USD to $350 USD. Take a look at the collaboration in the gallery above.
