Tim Tebow’s Night To Shine: An Epic Experience For Special Kids

A Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older. For the third time, a Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, was held at the spectacular Grace Community Church in New Canaan, Connecticut. The 10th annual Night to Shine event was hosted by 375 churches from around the world... all on the same night with 75,000 guests and the support of 150,000 volunteers. At this year's event we met up with New Canaan High School student Ethan Hughes and his chaperone "buddy" and High School senior Joey McFadden for this very special night. Ethan is fifteen years old and this is his first high school prom; he's been looking forward to this night for weeks! Guests arrive at the highly anticipated Red Carpet to cheering friends, family, and paparazzi. After a stop at the special hair & make–up station, they receive their flowers and a photo session, before the magical evening of dinner and dancing begins! The highlight of the night comes when Tim Tebow crowns every one of the Night to Shine guests as king or queen of the prom!
