Tim McGraw Wishes the 'Love of My Life' Faith Hill a Happy Birthday as Daughter Maggie Jokes 'Please Adopt Me'

Tim McGraw is celebrating another year of Faith Hill!

On Thursday, the Standing Room Only singer wished his wife and fellow country singer a happy birthday with a sweet social media tribute.

"Happy birthday to the love of my life, my partner and my best friend. You light up every room you walk into and you light up my heart and soul," McGraw, 56, wrote on Instagram, alongside a stunning throwback portrait of Hill, who celebrated her 56th birthday.

"I love you more than I could ever express in a million years," he adds. "This is your day my love!!!!♥️😘."

Their daughter Audrey, 21, commented on the post and wrote, "The most beautiful. Inside and out." Meanwhile, daughter Maggie, 25, wrote, "Ugh pls adopt me."

The couple also shares daughter Gracie, 26.

In August, McGraw opened up to PEOPLE for One Last Thing and said he and Hill routinely have date nights as empty nesters.

"We’ll cook a big dinner at home and light candles all over and turn ’80s music on," he said. "We try to have those often. In fact, when the girls get home now, it’s like, 'Haven’t you been here a little too long?'"

That same month, McGraw said their 26-year marriage stemmed from a promise they made when they first decided to tie the knot.

“I don’t know if there’s a key,” McGraw said about his life with Hill, who he married in 1996 at his aunt’s house in Rayville, Louisiana, just months after getting engaged.

“We always say we’re 27 years coming up, we always say it’s like 96 in show business. It’s almost like dog years," he said.

McGraw continued, “We just made a commitment early on, when we first decided we were going to get married and have kids, that we wouldn’t just walk out the door when problems arose.”

McGraw and Hill met at a gig in Nashville in 1994. Two years later, McGraw popped the question while on tour at a country music festival.
