According to the logline for the series, it will depict the story of “a megastar champion [McGraw] facing a life-or-death crossroads when confronted by the arrival of a fearless young rider whose existence challenges his ways and unearths secrets that force him to reckon with his past.”

The series comes from Skydance Television and was unveiled during Netflix’s upfront presentation to advertisers on Wednesday (May 15). Brandon Camp (known for 2018’s Benji) will serve as creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner for the series, with Taylor Elmore (Justified) also serving as co-showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers for the series include Joel Bergvall, Brian Kaplan and Tim Staples for Down Home, as well as David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television.
