Tim McGraw is cheering on his daughter, Maggie, this weekend as she celebrates a new addition to her already expansive résumé.

The country star’s daughter, who holds a master’s degree in sustainability science and practice from Stanford University, has recently joined the board of directors at Alive, a nonprofit hospice care center based in Nashville, Tenn. The center announced that Maggie was coming on board in an April 16 Instagram post.

In its post, Alive identified Maggie as “a native Nashvillian whose firsthand experience with Alive inspired her service on the Board.”

“She brings valuable skills and a generational perspective that supports our work at Alive as the only nonprofit hospice in Middle Tennessee and we are thrilled to have her join us,” the post added.

The “Standing Room Only” singer shared Alive’s post on Instagram Stories on Friday, April 19, and added his own message of congratulations.

“So proud of our daughter Maggie! Doing great stuff!” he wrote.

The McGraw family has previous ties to Alive through its care of Tug McGraw, Tim’s father. Citing Maggie’s background in public policy, Alive said in a news post on its website that she “brings valuable skills and a generational perspective that will support our community education programs on grief, advance care planning and wills for adults of all ages.”

In addition to her new role on the Alive Board of Directors, Maggie also works at Earth League International as a special projects and government affairs manager. She previously worked as a legislative aide in Washington, D.C.

At 25, Maggie is the second oldest of three daughters that the “Highway Don’t Care” singer shares with his wife, fellow country star Faith Hill. The couple often proudly share photos and videos on social media of Maggie and her sisters, Gracie, 26, and Audrey, 22. Many posts feature the three siblings singing together, leaving fans in awe of the family’s collective talent.
