Country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are celebrating a monumental double milestone this week — not to mention their crossover into the empty nesters’ club. The proud parents shared tributes to their daughters Maggie, 22, and Audrey, 18, who just graduated from college and high school, respectively. And while McGraw’s shout-out to the couple’s “class of 2020 girls” is cute, we’re admittedly pretty partial to Hill’s hilarious graduation posts.

McGraw took to Instagram on Sunday to share four photos of their two graduating daughters (Hill and McGraw’s oldest daughter, Gracie, 23, is a New York University grad). Two of the photos show Maggie, who just earned her degree from Stanford. The other two are snapshots of Audrey, who has now officially finished her senior year of high school. “Our class of 2020 girls!” McGraw captioned the post, adding, “Boom! Great work ladies! Mom and I are so proud of y’all!!!!”

For her contribution, Hill shared a throwback video of her and Maggie making the road trip to Stanford. The problem? Hill didn’t account for wind interference from the rolled-down windows, leading to an inaudible (and loud!) recording. “Hard to believe that this road trip with Maggie from Nashville to Palo Alto was four years ago. This was me trying to film us singing to the radio with my phone out the window,” she wrote, joking, “Easy to see why one of just graduated from Stanford and one did not!!!!!”

Hill wrapped up the post with a heartfelt message, writing, “Congratulations Maggie and to all of your sweet friends as well!!! We love you!!!!!!”

For Audrey, the sentimental mama shared a precious video of her youngest daughter showing off her singing pipes at an early age. “There is no doubt in my mind little sparrow that you will always be YOU. Wherever you land,” Hill captioned the clip. “Now a high school graduate and a part of the extraordinary class of 2020!!!!!!!!”

Curious how McGraw and Hill will spend their downtime now that all three daughters are spreading their wings? Well, the recent coronavirus lockdown hinted at how their future might play out. With Gracie and Maggie away at college and Audrey holed up at their Franklin, Tennesse, farm, the couple squeezed in a lot of quality time together.

“We’re pretty simple,” McGraw told Taste of Country Nights last month. “We don’t go out often — even before all of this, we didn’t go out very often. We’re pretty much sit-by-the-fire-and-watch-TV people, for sure.”
