Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are celebrating 27 wonderful years of marriage!

On Friday, McGraw posted on Instagram to thank Hill for all the great years they've spent together.

McGraw, 56, kicked off his post by sharing the first photo he and Hill, 55, ever took together. The pic features the "This Kiss" singer with curls piled on to top of her head, while McGraw grins from beneath his cowboy hat. The "Don't Take the Girl" singer added a second, more recent black-and-white snap to show how far they've come in the years since.

"This is the very first picture ever taken of us, the very first time we ever met back in spring of 1994," McGraw captioned his post. "This was backstage of the 'New Faces' show at the Country Radio Seminar......I fell for you in an instant!"

He continued, "Today is our 27th wedding anniversary and I fall for you everyday, every time you walk into the room, every time I see you in our 3 beautiful daughter's smiles. I just keep falling and always will. Happy anniversary my love! @faithhill."

McGraw and Hill first met at the Country Radio Seminar showcase for new talent in Nashville in 1994. At the time, the "Highway Don't Care" crooner was in a relationship with Kristine Donahue, and Hill was engaged to Scott Hendricks.

The pair started dating shortly after they each ended their relationships with their respective partners. On Oct. 6, 1996, McGraw and Hill tied the knot after performing together on their Spontaneous Combustion tour, where Hill was the opener.

At the time, "We were young and silly and goo-goo-eyed in love," McGraw told PEOPLE about falling for each other on tour in 1996.

Since they've said "I do," the musicians have shared many special moments together – including raising three daughters: Gracie, 26, Maggie, 24, and Audrey, 21.

While McGraw and Hill have achieved a lot in their careers, it's clear that being parents is their proudest accomplishment.

"It's inspiring to me to watch them go out on their own and do the things they do," McGraw told PEOPLE in 2021 about his daughters. "We've raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women. And what I'm most grateful for is just how normal our kids are and how grounded they are and how much they respect themselves and other people. It makes me feel like we've done a pretty decent job, especially Mom."

To celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary last October, McGraw shared a slideshow video on Instagram featuring photos and video clips with Hill throughout the years and penned a sweet note to his wife in the post's caption.

Soundtracked by the iconic country superstars' 2007 duet "I Need You" from McGraw's Let It Go album, the 55-year-old musician wrote alongside the video, "Wow, 26 years! Happy anniversary to my girl!! I love you baby @faithhill"

Underneath the post, multiple famous friends of the couple offered celebratory messages in the comments section. "Happy Anniversary lovebirds!!!!💕💋💕" wrote Rita Wilson, who stars alongside McGraw and Hill, 55, in 1883.

Gwyneth Paltrow also chimed in, writing, "Awwwwwwwwww❤️❤️"
