Tim McGraw and Carly Pearce set to make tour stop next March at Wells Fargo Arena

Country legend Tim McGraw is coming to the Des Moines metro next March.

The actor and three-time Grammy Award winner will bring his "Standing Room Only" tour to Des Moines on March 21 at Wells Fargo Arena, 233 Center St., Des Moines. The stop is one of 30 arena performances featuring opener Carly Pearce, the country singer behind hits such as "Every Little Thing," "Next Girl," "I Hope You're Happy Now" and "What He Didn't Do."

McGraw's upcoming album "Standing Room Only" is set to be released on Aug. 25.

The "Highway Don't Care," "Live Like You Were Dying" and "Something Like That" hitmaker has made frequent appearances in Iowa in recent years.

McGraw's latest stop in Iowa was a performance with 35,000 fans in attendance last July at the Hy-Vee IndyCar Weekend in Newton. He also performed with his wife and fellow country star Faith Hill at Wells Fargo Arena during a tour stop in 2018.
