During the 2010's, Lifetime's popular reality show "Dance Moms" was on point.

"Dance Moms," which featured Pittsburgh dance instructor Abby Lee Miller's company, was a ratings hit for the network. The reality series blended the diva antics of "Real Housewives" with America's highly competitive amateur dance world. The show churned out young Hollywood stars from actress Maddie Ziegler to influencer JoJo Siwa.

During season 6 of the show, Miller ditched Pennsylvania for Los Angeles and one season later, two Iowans joined the fold. Mother-daughter duo Jamie and Maesi Caes of Altoona starred on "Dance Moms" for just one season.

Six years later, TikTok videos of the Iowa mother-daughter duo are circulating among fans of the show.

Jamie, who was known for donning small bows in her hair, was never afraid to stand up to Abby. And her daughter Maesi was a rising star at Abby Lee Dance Company who brought her high hopes from the heartland to Hollywood.

The pair made a lasting impression on the generation who grew up watching the show during their brief tenure.

What TikTok videos of Iowa 'Dance Moms' alums are going viral?

"Dance Moms" videos regularly go viral on TikTok, so it is no surprise that the Caes are getting their time to shine.

At its peak, the show produced memorable reality TV moments from Miller's physical altercation with "Dance Mom" Kelly Hyland to the dance instructor's controversial "pyramid," a ranking of the past week's best dancers.

Two videos, one posted by @thedavidwayne_ and the other posted by @tvedits.co, recount the Caes' experiences.

On one occasion, Miller called Jamie Caes an expletive after being disappointed in Maesi's performance. Then, when Jamie approaches Miller, the dance teacher shouts "Out, I've had it with you! I can't stand any of this! Go! Right now! Go!" before remarking, "This woman Jamie is probably a really nice person, but I have to give her a hard time."

On another occasion, Miller called Jamie the same expletive while holding a pair of scissors and telling the Atloona resident to "back off." After some back and forth, Miller calls Jamie "disgusting" and the Iowa mom asked, "How am I disgusting?" In response, the famed instructor looks at her up and down before Jamie asks Miller if she's insecure.

The respective TikTok videos have around a combined 100,000 likes and 766,000 views.

Where are Abby Lee Miller, Jamie and Maesi Caes now?

Abby Lee Miller left "Dance Moms" briefly during season 7 of the reality TV show. Later, she was sentenced for fraud charges and spent time in federal prison. Miller was also diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

After starring on "Dance Moms," Maesi Caes competed on NBC's "Little Big Shots." She performed a hip-hop routine on the children's talent reality show hosted by Steve Harvey in 2018.

That same year, Maesi appeared on season 2 of "World of Dance," the canceled NBC dance competition show.

Maesi graduated last May from Southeast Polk High School in Altoona. She started classes this fall at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where she is a member of the Golden Gopher's dance team.

The state school dance team holds 21-time national championship titles.

Jamie Caes has worked at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines since 2000, according to a bio on their website. These days, it seems that Jamie said her goodbyes to wearing bows. The accessories aren't pictured in recent photos.
