They chose their Florida venue — a private country club featuring three golf courses — because they wanted "something that represented us."

"Very bright, palm trees, water and everything that Florida offers," Ritter, 23, notes. "Even though it was a destination wedding, we are very thankful that most of our family and friends could be a part of it with us."

"We just wanted to be able to share our love with everyone we love," Covarrubias adds.

During the ceremony — which was officiated by their wedding planner, Taylor Stone — the couple exchanged handwritten vows. The bride wore a Martina Liana dress featuring a full ball gown skirt in glittery layered tulle, a beaded lace bodice and a keyhole back.

"I felt like a princess," Covarrubias says of her bridal look. "I just knew instantly when I put it on that it was the dress."

Guests then enjoyed a plated dinner starting with a salad of baby greens, jewel tomatoes, sun-dried cherries, cinnamon-toasted walnuts and imported French brie topped with a raspberry vinaigrette. Entrées included seared filet mignon with a red wine reduction and wild Alaskan black cod with a Chardonnay sauce.

The menu also featured a creamy mushroom risotto and seared baby French green beans.

The couple chose a three-tier vanilla and chocolate wedding cake topped with fresh strawberries and cream cheese icing. The dessert offering also included a gelato bar and a cotton candy bar.

Once the dancing got underway, Covarrubias and Ritter performed their first dance as husband and wife to Dan + Shay's "From the Ground Up."
