Somehow, in some way, TikTok has the ability to convince me to buy pretty much anything, especially if it’s on Amazon. I appreciate the real advice and insight that the platform’s creators share on their favorite products.
One item that went viral on the platform over the summer during peak #hotgirlwalk season was the Stanley Adventure Quencher, aka a really big stainless-steel water cup. In fact, it was so popular that it kept selling out. However, it’s currently in stock on Amazon in nine colors, and you better believe I got one.

The 40-ounce cup has over a billion views on TikTok, mostly from videos of women sharing where you can find it in stock and doing spill tests. (Spoiler alert: The first version of the cup easily leaked water, while the newest version does not.)
But anyway, the reason people love this cup so much is that it has a handle that makes the large size easy to carry and a straw that locks in place, and it’s smaller on the bottom, so it fits into most car cupholders (that’s very important to reviewers). Plus, of course, it keeps drinks hot or cold for hours, thanks to its double-wall vacuum insulation.
“They will hold ice in a drink for 24 hours, and the carry handles are great,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “I’ve left drinks in mine for over a week, and it rinses out easily with no residual smell. There’s a reason you had a hard time getting these. They are the best ones made. Don’t hesitate buying one. They are worth the price, and you won’t regret it.”
Ah, yes, the price — the 40-ounce Adventure Quencher will cost you $40 (and some colors are currently marked up to $65). However, as many TikTokers and Amazon reviewers say, it’s worth it.
Ultimately, it’s just a cup — do you need it? Maybe not. However, the size has encouraged me to drink more water and take water with me to stay hydrated no matter where I go. Plus, I like ice water, and this keeps my drink really, really cold. Overall, I’m glad I got one. It comes in a few smaller sizes, so maybe I’ll get those ones eventually, too. Thanks again, TikTok.
