Tiffany Red, songwriter and friend to Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, has continued to elaborate on her recent open letter that corroborates abuse claims against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In a recent sit-down with NBC News — which aired on Thursday (Dec. 21) — Red explained the reasoning behind Cassie participating in alleged group sex with other men.

“She told me the only time he was willing to do anything or work on her music, go through with any plans, is when she had a ‘freak-off,'” she revealed. “So all of our music – all my work – to find out I spent all these years writing these songs for him to rape my friend to, like, is just disgusting.”

Red also shared that Cassie confided in her about other incidents with Combs, including allegedly getting a black eye before the 2016 premiere of The Perfect Match, a film she starred in. Red also declared Combs to be a “dangerous” person per “his rap sheet.”

“I think a lot of people, especially in the Black community, I’ve seen the narrative of, you know, ‘They’re just trying to take a Black man down,'” Red continued. “It’s just like, that’s not what this is about. This is about accountability and a reckoning. That’s just the bottom line.”

According to Red, she’d like to see “Diddy being behind bars” as accountability and “retribution” for everyone involved. She added, “All of the moments, all of the time — these are our careers.”

Red has penned songs for Cassie, Jason Derulo, and Tamar Braxton amongst others, keeping her relationship with Cassie close. Per Rolling Stone, the two singers first met while working on the Cassie’s unreleased sophomore album — a follow up to her 2006 self-titled debut.

The GRAMMY-winning songwriter penned an open letter to Combs earlier this month, backing abuse claims made by the “Me & U” crooner. The case, which was filed and settled within 24 hours last month, alleged that Combs mentally and physically abused Cassie, sex trafficked and sexually assaulted her, and more.

Since the explosive news broke, the father-of-six has been disgraced through various videos, testimonies, photos, and more surfacing the web from his former personnel, signed artists, and other employees. Diddy has maintained his innocence, insisting that the lawsuit was, “riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’ reputation and seeking a payday.”

On Instagram, he opened up about allegations made against him. “Enough is enough,” he wrote in a statement. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Red claims she was around for much of the alleged abuse, like the night of Cassie’s 29th birthday party in August 2015, where Cassie claimed that Diddy and his security guards “cornered” and “forced” her to leave to perform sexual acts with other men. Red has described her run-ins with Combs as “traumatizing,” “uncomfortable,” “mortifying,” and more.
