Tiffany Haddish has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor charges following her arrest last month.

According to Rolling Stone, the actress faced two DUI charges stemming from a November incident where she was allegedly found sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle in Los Angeles. On Wednesday (Dec. 20), her legal team appeared in court to enter the plea. Her lawyers include Mari Henderson, an associate at the firm of Alex Sprio. RS confirms Spiro, also a representative of JAY-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, and Elon Musk, leads Haddish’s defense.

Officially, Haddish is charged with one count of misdemeanor driving under the influence and one count of misdemeanor driving with a blood alcohol level of at least 0.08 percent. She is due back in court for a pretrial hearing on Feb. 14.

“This will never happen again. I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” shared the 44-year-old after the arrest. Unfortunately, it has allegedly happened before.

In January 2022, the Girls Trip star was charged with driving under the influence in Georgia. In this incident, Haddish was taken into custody by Peachtree City Police at around 2:30 a.m. after a tip reported a driver falling asleep at the wheel on a highway. The Self Made actress was released after paying a $1,666 bond. According to RS, Haddish is due in court for this case in February.

Both times, Haddish made light of the potentially dangerous situation, sharing a similar joke about God answering her prayers for a new man.
