Tiffani Thiessen Proves How Good 'Over the Hill' Looks on Her 50th Birthday

Tiffani Thiessen reached a milestone birthday on Jan. 23 and she’s not hiding it one bit. The Beverly Hills 90210 star officially turned 50 and she’s proving this season of life never looked better.

Thiessen took to Instagram to share her “Over the hill” snapshot, but don’t let her words fool you. She’s reminding her followers that “#thisis50” with a stunning bedroom snapshot with only a sheet draped over her. Her artfully messy hair covered one shoulder as her hand held the sheet by the right side of her chest. She soulfully gazed at the camera lens and shared a very vulnerable side to herself. For years, Hollywood has told women that they are “old” after the age of 40, but Thiessen and other actresses in her age group are defying what they have been led to believe.

On The Jennifer Hudson Show last fall, Thiessen shared that she wanted to approach this major birthday with a healthy mindset. “I think people will say things, you know, and maybe expect me to look a certain way, yes, but I mean, it’s just not realistic. I can only age the way I’m going to age, right? I’m the best I can be and I’m taking care of myself and doing things that I know will benefit the outside exterior of myself that people are seeing,” she noted.

That means embracing “the wrinkles that [she’s] earned.” She explained to Hudson, “I say earned because I think I’ve earned them. They’re from all the tears and laughter — both! And I’m happy about that.” Thiessen thinks this decade is about “being the best 50-year-old I [can] be” because her 40s here so focused on her two children, daughter Harper, 13, and. Son Holt, 3, with her husband Brady Smith. “We give so much to our kids… and now, since the kids are older, they don’t need me so much as when they were little, it’s a little more me time,” Thiessen said. “It’s about me.”

Thiessen also enjoyed supportive comments from some of Hollywood’s famous faces, including her Saved by the Bell costar Mario Lopez, who wrote, “Welcome to the 5th level kid!’ Sarah Michelle Gelllar added, “Looks pretty 🔥🔥🔥 to me.’ And Jennifer Love Hewitt sweetly noted, “Happy Birthday! I remember knowing you as a teenager and hoping to be as gorgeous as you one day! And I still feel the same! You make 50 look great!”

Thiessen’s steps to make her health a key part of her life is evident in her birthday photo. She looks happy, glowing, and confident — and it’s a reminder that no one should dictate what aging looks or feels like. Do what is right for you!
