Ahead of her debut album release for World Wide Whack, UO is dropping a World Wide Whack limited-edition vinyl LP and UO Exclusive graphic tee, available online March 15th. The opaque spring green vinyl is priced at $34.98 and limited to just 2500 copies, with a special edition signed by Whack limited to only 500 copies.

Starting at $39, The UO exclusive tee includes graphics from Philly-made Whack herself, including a quirky collection of sticky notes with phrases like “Act Natural : (“, “Who are you?”, and “Whacko”. It’s washed soft with a pigment-dyed finish and distressed graphics for that old-school, worn-in band tee look.

Whack will also headline Urban Outfitter’s music showcase on March 16, with Urban Outfitters saying the artist “solidif[ied] her position as a force to be reckoned with after her riveting release Whack World. [She is] often described as a hip-hop surrealist known for her imaginative world-building presence; combining styles, genres, and visuals in innovate ways.” Rapidly-rising experimental R&B artist N3WYRKLA and fellow Philly native Chioke are also set to perform. Extending beyond SXSW, UO’s Spring/Summer campaign will include a revamped UO Music Shop featuring the latest vinyl releases, merch drops, and exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with artists like Whack.

Last fall, Tierra Whack took the stage with Lil Yachty for Rolling Stone’s first-ever Musicians on Musicians live event. While she knows it’s been a while since she released new music, Whack explained by saying that innovative music videos like hers take time. But also: “I’m not just going to put out bullshit,” Tierra said. “It’s going to be stuff I’m really proud of.” Her highly-anticipated debut full-length album, World Wide Whack, is a follow up to her critically acclaimed visual EP, Whack World. Whack teamed up with fellow Philly native, conceptual artist Alex Da Corte, on the visuals and creative elements of this album.

Correction: The piece initially stated that World Wide Whack was Tierra Whack’s sophomore release, however it is her debut album.
