Tickets remain for July 21 Wine Crawl

Two more stops have been added to this year’s Downtown Monroe Wine Crawl. A limited number of tickets are still available.

The Wine Crawl will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. July 21, starting at River Raisin Banquet Center, 8 N. Monroe St.

This year’s event offers 16 wine stops and four food stops.

This year's stops are: Martin's Shoe House, Williams Insurance Agency, Brown Bag Boutique, Frenchie's Fine Jewelry & Coins, Integrative Sustainable Movement, Floral City Images, Ryan Donaldson Photography, Jack's Bicycle, Salon 23, Victoria Day Spa, Hotel Sterling, Scally Waggs Doggy Bakery, Beek's Bar, Amaya's Fresh Mexican Grill, Michigan Wine and Beer Portal, Public House, Durocher's TV & Appliance, Monroe County Labor Museum, Front Street Mercantile and Mindful Movement.

“We have at least two new locations,” Paula Stanifer, event coordinator for the Downtown Monroe Business Network, said.

Wine Crawl features Michigan wines. Music also will be offered.

“We will have music at several locations provided by Rusty Nail, Celestial Blues, Lee Haselschwerdt and Floral City Harmonizers,” Stanifer said.

Tickets are $30 cash each and are available at Frenchie’s Fine Jewelry, 15 E. Front St.

Held since 2013, the Wine Crawl has grown each year.

“The first year we sold 100 tickets. Now, we sell 425. Last year we sold out prior to the event,” Stanifer said.
